Mick Ruse ("MHR") is a semi-retired practitioner who has the administrative support of his wife Elaine Ruse MBE.

MHR was 3 years with HMRC doing share valuation and left as a senior examiner to spend 20 years with two leading accountants before in 1997 resigning his partnership to be independent.

EXPERIENCE

MHR has made over 1,200 valuations as expert and many more in differing capacities. Assignments range from sole traders to multinational corporations.

MHR has acted as an expert witness in both commercial and tax litigation (including for HMRC in several high profile cases) and still writes occasionally for professional consumption.

MHR has a diploma in civil law and is a member of both STEP and The Academy of Experts. He has lectured to international audiences.

Most areas of business asset and unquoted share valuation work are covered.

CLIENTS

Instructions are taken from accountants, lawyers, companies, individuals and organisations.

MHR can act as expert, independent adviser and negotiator.

Initially enquiries are dealt with informally and no fee is normally involved until an engagement letter has been signed.
